Representatives from Art in August will start off the program at 7 PM

Rock musician Tim Gleeson will be phoning in to Soap Box this Friday night at 7:30 PM to discuss his CD No Sad Songs. His webpage is http://www.timgleeson.com/

Yoga Instructor Nicole Bacon might make a stop by as well.

There will also be a special interview with one of the biographers of film star Bela Lugosi. Frank Dello Stritto, author of
"A Quaint & Curious Volume of Forgotten Lore: The History & Mythology of Classic Horror Films" and "Vampire over London: Bela Lugosi in Britain"
will be talking on the air (via phone) at 8:40 PM. The Public Domain Movie at 9 PM features part 2 of Wincam's Bela Lugosi Festival running from now until Halloween. The Lugosi film this week is The Ape Man.

Wikipedia notes that The Ape Man is a 1943 horror Science fiction film starring Bela Lugosi and directed by William Beaudine. The film follows the tale of a part human part ape. A sequel, in name only, called Return of the Ape Man, followed in 1944, one year later after this film and starred Bela Lugosi, John Carradine and George Zucco.


On Friday, September 3, 2010 author James "Tappy" Wright will be phoning in at 7:30 PM to discuss his book "Rock Roadie". http://www.rockroadie.net/intro.html Wright will also discuss his book on The Buzzy Linhart Radio Show on Thursday evening September 2 at 7:30 PM on Http://www.wincam.org We should be giving away copies of ROCK ROADIE! to Wincam callers on Friday night.
